In this industry we work with almost all major solar equipment builders and developed special materials and reworking techniques which we now use in many industries.

At the starting of the PEVCD we where asked to develop and make many parts for the PEVCD graphite carriers out of a high end alumina material to withstand the harsh conditions of the proces and the handeling. These items are now more or less standard parts for us. But together with our customers we are implementing more and more ceramics and quartz parts in their furnaces and special processes.

Within the medical industry there is a wide range and use of high end ceramic/quartz components within machinery (for example cancer radiation equipment or blood pumps) as well as in end products of engineered precision tips to ablate tumors which are being used as a consumable.

Constant quality here is a must. So the process for these kind of items are extra critical and controlled to meet the requirements our customers are expecting.

Ceramic, tungsten carbide and quartz are being used in a wide range of industries and machinery. We always say from foundries to semiconductor industry. Where metals and plastics cannot be used anymore quartz and ceramics would be the first alternative to get the Job done.

Furnaces are taking the ceramic to a limit. Several customers already building equipment up to 2300 degrees Celsius. This means many support items also need to be usable up to this level.

Within this industry we make many different items but we find the most challenging ones to make things easier for our customer. Think of standardizing items for the need of our customers. Or make special equipments (crucibles, carriers, etc) to make the handeling more easy in the proces of the end user.
